Dancing Princes & Princesses: Creative Movement & Tap
(Ages 3-4)
Dancing Kings & Queens: Pre-Ballet & Tap
(Ages 5-6)

Dance Institute's Children Ballet classes are structured to strengthen the instinctive expression of movement we are all born with. Our classes develop strength and coordination through basic skipping and leaping to music, while also learning elements of pre‐ballet and tap which set the foundation for beginning ballet & tap steps. We encourage creativity through imaginative interaction and movements.

Ballet IA & Ballet IB
(Ages 6-8)

More advanced barre exercises will be incorporated into this class. Students will be introduced to center work. Students are introduced to ballet positions of feet and arms at the barre and center. Principals of correct posture, as well as terminology are taught. Through this careful process students develop strength, coordination, and flexibility.

Director’s Cut Ballet Intensive

Director's Cut is designed to give boys and girls, ages 7 through 12 and opportunity to train under Dance Institute's professional team along with professional guest artists.

The program focuses on classical ballet technique, while exposing students to multiple dance forms and subjects such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theater with the goal of becoming a well-rounded dancer.

Level IV/Level IIIB/Level IIIA- Monday-Thursday 10:30-3:30 (Ages 7-16)

The Wizard of OZ Experience

June 12 - July 1

Workshop includes: Workshop with cast members of the National Broadway Tour, The Wizard of Oz and ticket to Saturday matinee performance of The Wizard of Oz!

This fun workshop will give students ages 8 through 18 the unique opportunity to learn musical theater skills while working along side Broadway professionals. The class will teach vocal technique, acting and musical theater dance using material from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz and Wicked! Workshop culminates with a spectacular performance July 1st for family and friends!

“THIS IS IT” & BROADWAY MUSICAL REVIEW

July 12-23

Learn favorite Michael Jackson and Broadway Musical choreography in this high-energy dance workshop taught by Broadway veteran, Rudy Roberson. Students will experience the magic of Michael Jackson's unique choreography as well as other Broadway style dance techniques. Workshop will culminate in a exciting performance on July 23rd for family and friends!

Get Ripped with Heather O’Hara!

Join former Rockette, Heather O'Hara for a boot camp to increase strength, flexibility and endurance with the objective of making the student a stronger & better dancer.

Summer Dance with the Stars

August 2-13

Enrollment in the workshop includes a ticket to the Latin Show starring Edyta and Alec of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars"!

Want to dance like they do on Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance?

Rub elbows and learn from choreographer, Sonya Tayeh from the hit show So You Think You Can Dance as well as other talented professionals. The professional dance coaches will teach you all the latest styles and moves. You'll learn contemporary, ballet, musical theater dance and ballroom and much more.
